Friday afternoon, KIVI’s Registrar Pascal van der Molen installed Jan van der Tempel, CEO of Ampelmann, as a Fellow Chartered Engineer.
During Jan van der Tempel’s installation, Edward Heerema, Jan’s former mentor, and David Molenaar, Jan’s friend and business partner, offered words of praise that underscored Jan’s passion and courage.
The FCEng designation attests to exceptional professional competence, a lasting impact on the engineering profession, and a valuable contribution to society. Fellow Chartered Engineer status is awarded to leading engineers who distinguish themselves through expertise, innovation, and leadership, and who actively share their knowledge to strengthen the profession.

So said Jan van der Tempel, CEO of Ampelmann, during his speech.
