Thanks to the new partnership agreement, Register Designers (ROs) can now directly qualify as Chartered Engineers (CEng). Register Constructors (RCs) can be directly registered as Incorporated Engineers (IEng).
CEng and IEng are both internationally recognized.

The Constructeursregister and the Chartered/Incorporated Engineer system of KIVI do not only have a corresponding procedure for assessment, mandatory additional training and checking; the main objectives are also the same: promoting and monitoring the expertise and professionalism of the constructor or engineer. Add to that the fact that the organizations behind both systems have confidence in each other’s approach and further cooperation is obvious.

When joining the KIVI system, the members of the Constructeursregister no longer have to pay registration and assessment costs, but a KIVI Chartership Membership is required. This collaboration also means that the RO or RC does not have to re-qualify for the Chartered register.

Register

For registration you need to fill in this transfer document and send it to chartered@kivi.nl. For the sake of completeness, we request that you send an ID (without social security number) and a copy of your certificate from the Constructeursregister at the same time.
After checking, you will be entered in the register and you will be sent a certificate, the Chartered or Incorporated pin and your digital signature.
