KIVI has created a number of podcasts to clarify the title of Chartered Engineer/Incorporated Engineer, to provide an idea of how to obtain the title and its value. In the podcasts, Chartered Engineers from different fields and backgrounds share their own experiences.
The Chartership provides a structure for professional development and knowledge exchange between different engineering fields and disciplines. Key concepts are knowledge, skills, leadership, communication and commitment.
The new Chartered or Incorporated Engineer is included in the Chartered Engineer Register of KIVI. He/she will receive a certificate in recognition of their achievements and may use the professional and internationally recognized title CEng or IEng.
All Chartered and Incorporated Engineer candidates are guided by a mentor and our dedicated Chartership team to assist and advise at all stages of the Chartership process.
Chartered and Incorporated Engineers are increasingly in demand, because they provide a quality guarantee according to an international title. For example, in high-risk projects this ensures risk reduction.
Listen to our podcasts that give you more ins and outs of chartership through our Chartered Engineers who speak from their own experience. A total of 5 podcasts will be posted, each discussing a certain aspect of the chartership.
