On September 1, Pascal van der Molen, Director of KIVI and Registrar, and Fernando de Almeida Santos, President of the Ordem dos Engenheiros Portugal (OEP), signed the extension of the Mutual Recognition Agreement between the Ordem dos Engenheiros Portugal (OEP) and KIVI in Portugal. The Ordem dos Engenheiros is a public association that represents engineers throughout Portugal.
This agreement guarantees that the title Chartered Engineer, obtained through KIVI, is now recognized by employers and engineering associations throughout Portugal, and vice versa.
